CRANE RIGGING & PANEL ASSEMBLY
Because Polar Plank wall panels arrive pre-built with factory insulation, precision bucks, and interlocking joinery, an experienced crew with a mobile crane can stand and lock your weather envelope in just 1 to 2 days.
STEP 01: SILL PREP & CRANE SETUP
Level the subfloor deck, verify corner diagonals, lay factory EPDM sill seal gaskets, and position the boom truck or mobile crane with stable outrigger pads.
STEP 02: CORNER & WALL PANEL RUN
Fly the master corner panel first. Interlock perimeter panels sequentially using tongue-and-groove joints, driving structural fasteners through engineered pre-drilled chases.
STEP 03: RIDGE BEAM & RAFTER SET
Lift the pre-cut heavy timber ridge beam into pocket notches. Crane flies and drops pre-cut roof rafters directly onto top-plate rafter seats.
STEP 04: SHEATHING & DRIED-IN LOCK
Fasten roof sheathing, roll felt and ice-and-water shield membrane along eaves. In a single working day, your building envelope is closed to rain and snow.
