STATEWIDE FREIGHT & BACKCOUNTRY LOGISTICS

BUILD WHERE THE ROAD ENDS.

Building in Alaska means building beyond supply stores and hardware lumber yards. Polar Plank home packages are factory pre-assembled, weather-wrapped, and dimensioned to travel by highway flatbed, marine barge, or backcountry air cargo anywhere in the state.

02/THE PACKAGING & STAGING PROCESS

HOW YOUR PACKAGE TRAVELS.

Conventional lumber packages sit exposed to rain and mud on remote jobsites for weeks. Polar Plank packages arrive engineered, sealed, and sequenced so erection begins the minute the truck or barge offloads.

01

MILLED IN SOLDOTNA

100% Alaskan white spruce timber harvested and milled to precision tolerances in our climate-controlled Kenai Peninsula mill.

02

WEATHER-WRAPPED IN PACKAGES

Every panel is factory pre-stained, clear-satin sealed, labeled with assembly IDs, and wrapped in heavy-duty weatherproof poly cradles.

03

LOADED ON ROAD, BARGE OR AIR

Dispatched from Soldotna via Carlile highway flatbed, port containerization, or regional backcountry air freight hubs.

04

OFFLOADED & STAGED AT YOUR SITE

Arrives organized in sequential erection order, eliminating jobsite sorting chaos and minimizing ground exposure time.

05

CLOSED-IN ENVELOPE IN 1–2 DAYS

A crane crew sets the corner post, slides wall panels into place, flies the glulam ridge, and closes your weather envelope in days, not months.
