01. Alaska Road System via Carlile Transportation
Standard HighwayWe partner directly with Carlile Transportation, Alaska's premier heavy-haul carrier. Packages are loaded onto flatbed trailers at our Soldotna facility and delivered directly along the road network: Kenai Peninsula, Anchorage, Mat-Su, Fairbanks, Delta Junction, Glenallen, and Tok.
Typical transit: 1 to 3 days depending on destination · Direct job site roll-off or crane offloading.
02. Alaska Marine Highway & Commercial Barge
Coastal & IslandsFor parcels off the road system, our packages are dimensioned and packaged for marine transport. We coordinate with the Alaska Marine Highway system and commercial coastal barge operators out of Homer, Seward, and Whittier to serve Kodiak, Prince William Sound, Southeast Alaska, and the Aleutians.

03. Specialized Air Cargo & Remote Staging
Fly-in Bush SitesFor fly-in lakefront or bush airstrip parcels, components are pre-staged and loaded onto commercial air freighters. Panels and beams are modularized to fit cargo doors and payloads without compromising structural integrity once assembled on-site.
* All shipping and freight costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are quoted transparently based on your parcel's route, seasonal road weight restrictions (spring breakup load limits), and carrier schedules. Polar Plank coordinates the freight dispatch on your behalf so you have one less thing to worry about.
